Allison Ellzey MD MSEd
Dr. Allison is a board-certified Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. She completed her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ellzey completed her pediatric residency at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital and her fellowship in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a top five children’s hospital in the United States according to U.S. News. Dr. Ellzey also has additional training from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Utah for leadership training in neurodevelopmental and related disabilities. Prior to moving back home to Mississippi, Dr. Ellzey served as a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician at the University of Utah Developmental Assessment Clinics. Prior to completing her fellowship, Dr. Ellzey also worked as a general pediatrician where she cared for children with developmental delays and complex medical needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her daughter, and is an enthusiastic fan of musical theatre, ballet, college gymnastics and WNBA basketball.
Jennifer Ellzey MD
Dr. Jennifer is a general pediatrician with additional certificate training in autism diagnosis. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science and with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. She also graduated summa cum laude with a Medical Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she graduated first in her medical school class. Dr. Ellzey completed her Pediatric Residency at Children’s Mercy Kansas City and additionally completed a year-long certificate program in autism screening and diagnosis in young children at the University of Utah. She is most passionate about increasing access to autism evaluation and combating mental health stigma. Dr. Ellzey is board certified in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is also fluent in Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, casual hiking and cycling, and being a huge fan of musical theatre and all things Disney.
